CUSTOMER : Metallurgy company in France

PROBLEM : During maintenance and cleaning operations, the client was facing problems in term of safety and material spillage under the conveyor belt and more specifically under the tail pulley.

PRODUCT : manganese dust (density: 3.2)

THE CUSTOMER’S REQUIREMENT : In order to ensure better access to achieve safety and to avoid stopping its installation during cleaning operations, he wanted to install a sealed system that would decrease the cleaning time.

SOLUTION : Installation of 14 meters LIFTUBE® in self-extinguishing & high temperature versions with a belt width of 650 mm. The self-extinguishing & high temperature versions have been recommended to addr ess the particularities of manganese dust.

RESULT : The customer is completely satisfied. Since the installation of the LIFTUBE, there is no more problem of flying dust and no need in planning cleaning interventions given the complete sealing of the conveyor.
